Kaylee Nylan reported on the Completion of NE 100th Street Overpass. Dignitaries including Governor Gary Locke will be on hand. Cake, punch and speakers will be on hand on the HIGHLANDS end of the Overpass for all attending.
Karen Tennyson reminded us that there will be a Comprehensive Plan Open House on October 22, at Mark Twain Elementary Gymnasium. On November 14 there will be a presentation of the City's Draft Plan.
At the KAN meeting, the KDOL and the Chamber of Commerce wanted to encourage us to think in terms of WE when looking for solutions to economic issues rather than looking at Business vs Neighborhood Associations.
