Board Meeting of the North Rose Hill Neighborhood Association Minutes

 

Place: North Rose Hill Fire Station

Date: August 21, 2006

Call to Order: 7:05 p.m.

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 by Margaret Carnegie.

 

Present at Meeting: Mike Stults, Betty Lou Crampton, Linda Jones, Dave Boyer and Margaret Carnegie

 

Guest Paul Stewart, Deputy Director, handed out information sheets regarding the alignment of the North Rose Hill Comprehensive Plan with the Kirkland City Code, and provided information during a discussion of issues, including buffers and the types of businesses allowed in both the north and south business districts.  The attendees decided to send a letter to the Panning Commission and City Council on behalf of the Neighborhood Association.       

 

Police response letters to a North Rose Hill Neighborhood Association letter written to them regarding pedestrian safety on 124th Ave. N.E. and speeding on both 124th Ave. N.E. and N.E. 100th were shared.

 

Walking paths maps of the North Rose Hill Neighborhood, as a work-in-progress, were shared.

 

Information on tree planting in North Rose Hill was provided.  We have a new City contact person, Wendy Kremer.  There should be additional trees available for planting this fall.
